Canada says “Equality in Tuition Fees”

International students, who have high ambitions to study in Canada, could be benefited through this new announcement from the Federal Government. As per the news statement, Canada government has decided to lower the tuition fee for the prospective overseas students, who intend to pursue education in Canada.  The main motto behind this announcement by the policymakers is to remove the line between the international students and Canadian nationals, in the education domain.

As indicated by this statement, overseas students will have to pay the same tuition fee as the Canadian nationals, and this shall help in attracting more number of immigrants to Canada, which will boost up the Canadian economy in the global market. Before proposal of this policy, international students had to pay six times more tuition fee than the Canadian nationals.

This policy is meant to attract more number of overseas aspirants and these policies have been found to be successful in other nations like Australia and New Zealand. As the global educational market is experiencing severe competition, it is time to relax the policies and practices by the policy makers, to sustain in the market. As per the statistics, the main source for Canadian economy is coming from overseas students, and more than 50% of these resources are from Asia. Hence, in order to benefit these students, Canada government had proposed this policy.

Nearly 9 out of 10 students are satisfied with this proposal, and 80% said that they would recommend Canada as a study destination to the prospective international students.  Thus, this new statement benefits the Canadian economy and the international students too, because Canada is one of the best places for attaining global exposure and knowledge in terms of education.
